The Calm Down Bin has been specially developed for children and young people to relax. The use of sensory material that appeals to the senses can help children with impending overstimulation. The materials in the calm down bin help children when they need a moment of rest or time out. This set of sensory aids can be used both at home and in a school setting. Weighting cushion

Weighting on your lap helps children who are hypersensitive to stimuli. Compare applying weighting to offering firm pressure through a hug. It helps children relax and feel more comfortable. Use the weighting for no more than 30 minutes in a row, no longer, then the effect will decrease. However, the weighting can be used at more times during the day. Then think of the more difficult moments for the child or student. Think of a circle situation, an instruction moment or a eating situation. This weighted cushion weighs 2 kg.

Koosh ball

Koosh ball is a soft ball of rubber strings. Ideal for practicing catching and throwing and using it as a stress ball.

Drip track

The drip track is fascinating for young and old to look at. Just watching the moving oil drops swirling down can calm children down. You can also use the drip track during transition situations or switching moments at home or in the classroom.

Hearing protector

The Jippie’s hearing protector helps to muffle sounds. With the use of hearing protection, children are less likely to be distracted by sounds, which makes it easier for them to concentrate in the classroom.
