Sensory Swing

The sensory swing is large enough for a child, an adult or a child and an adult at the same time. The sensory swing is ideal for highly sensitive children, children with autism, or ADHD. The swing is made of smooth and sturdy nylon material and is a bit stretchy. Children with problems in the processing of stimuli can stimulate wonderfully in the therapy swing. The cloth is somewhat stretchable so that it envelops the body, this gives them a safe and secure feeling. The sensory swing is the ideal way for children to process stimuli, but also to look for resistance stimuli.

Experience shows that young children fit completely into the swing, children from a length of 135 cm will less easily fit completely with their legs in it.

Hang up

1. It is best to hang the sensory swing on 1 suspension point.

2. Attach the Swing to a tree with the supplied cords or to a hook in the ceiling (for indoor use).

3. Attach each end by the carabiner. Make sure you have the desired hanging length at the end. Be sure to double-tie it, as the smooth material could slide with a knot.

4. You will receive a large carabiner and cord with the sensory swing. With the carabiner, it’s easy to untie and hang the swing again without having to adjust or reattach the swing every time.

Advice for use

1. The nylon material is mold resistant, but can fade with prolonged exposure to UV. When used outdoors, we recommend bringing the swing inside when not in use.

2. The suggested age is 3+, although we do recommend that small children use the swing under supervision. This is to ensure that they can get in and out safely, and preferably with a soft surface underneath.

Wash

The sensory swing likes to wash by hand and can be dried at low temperature.
