Senses and Sensory Aids

We all have seven senses: smell, taste, hearing, sight, touch, the sense of balance and the sense of movement. Together, these senses take care of our sensory processing and work together all day long so that we can respond well to our environment. When information from the senses is not processed as well, this is called a sensory processing difficulty. Children and adults can then benefit from sensory aids that help them process sensory input.
