This set of sensory feel circles consists of 10 round discs made of ultra soft flexible silicone – 5 large and 5 small with various textures/patterns. On the surface of each feel circle is a pattern that is distinctive and different from the rest of the set. Children can feel the textures with hands and feet and discover the differences and their preferences.
Tip: Place the small circles in the bag and see if children can describe or predict the pattern they feel. With the help of their feet, they can walk over the large sensory tactile circles. Using both the small and large sensory circles together via touch is also very nice with the use of a blindfold.
Silicone has some great properties that make it the ideal material for sensory feel circles. It’s strong, safe to use and feels ultra-soft.
