Farm Footprints

The farm footprint set consists of 8 double-sided stones that are ideal for sensory play. One side has an increased footprint of an animal and on the other side an image of the animal.

Push the footprint into sand, mud or clay and create a path from the footprints and let children follow the tracks and discover which animal the trail is. The following animals are in this set: cow, horse, sheep, pig, dog, cat, chicken and duck. Children can record their findings by rubbing, making prints in sand and discovering what else they know or can discover about each animal. When the work is done, the children can clean the footprints well with soap and water, for a new farming adventure.
