ARK’s Grabber is a popular chewing product to stimulate oral motor skills. But certainly also popular for children and adults with chewing needs.

The Grabber chewing rod can be used to:

• stimulate the senses and provide proprioceptive input
• provide a safe alternative to chewing hands, garments, pencils
• unlearn teeth grinding and/or thumb sucking
• help reduce hypersensitivity and aversion to food
• exercise biting and chewing (oral motor skills) without risk of suffocation
• promote oral strength, mobility and control
• satisfy the chewing needs of people fed via a G-tube

About Ark Therapeutic

The ARK chewing products are available in 3 different strengths (colours):

• Soft / standard: The purple chewing rod is suitable for light chewing needs, or people with limited jaw strength who are just learning to bite and chew.
• Medium, XT : The green chewing rod is suitable for average chewing needs. The XT stands for “Xtra Tough.” These are sturdier, but still fairly tough.
• Solid, XXT: Blue or dark green. These are suitable for sturdy kauwehoefte. The XXT stands for Xtra Xtra Tough. These are the most sturdy and offer the most resistance to the jaw. No chewing product is indestructible, but these are very tough/the longest lasting option for fanatical and hard chewers.
