Chewel Chewing Chain

ARK’s Chewel bite chain has been specially designed by ARK with older teenagers and adults in mind. The chamfered design looks like a gemstone and forms a discreet chewing chain. This chewing jewelry is similar to ARK’s popular Krypto-Bite necklace, but with a flatter and more flared design.

Each pendant measures about 5 cm long and is more than 2 cm wide, at the widest part. The pendant is about 1 cm thick in the middle and towards the sides it is slightly thinner. The chewel chewing chain is ideal to chew with your front teeth. Use it as a safe alternative to chewing pencils, shirts, fingers, etc. and to help calm, focus and self-regulate.

All our chewing jewelry comes with a cord with a safety lock. This lock pops open when your child unexpectedly gets stuck on something with the chain while playing. It’s so safe!

Different strengths

The Chewel axing chain is available in 3 levels of chewing need:

• Average chewing requirement – recommended for mild chewers (those who don’t chew through anything):
• Medium-firm chewing requirement – firmer, but still fairly flexible to chew, recommended for average chewing need
• Firm chewing need – This chewing jewelry still has some “chewability”, but it’s pretty sturdy. No chewing product is indestructible, but this one lasts the longest when you’re a solid chewer.

The ARK Therapeutic chewing chains are made in the United States. They are made of safe silicone (food grade) and free of harmful substances such as lead, plasticizers, PVC, BPA and latex. If a piece is accidentally bitten off and swallowed, this is not harmful to health.

Lifespan Chewelry Ark Therapeutic

How long a bite chain lasts depends on the intensity with which it is chewed (how often, how long and how hard). No Ark chewing jewelry is indestructible and the average lifespan ranges from 2 months to 1 year. If damage occurs, replace the chewing jewelry.
