Montessori stacking figures
Stacking figures in Montessori colors are educational toys for children. By stacking, children learn to visually recognize quantities of the numbers. For example, the numbers 3 and 2 are stacked on top of each other as high as the number 5. An equal level is therefore equal to the equal value of the number. A fun way to playfully teach children the numbers and number comprehension. Particularly suitable for children with math problems, as the numbers are displayed visually and the understanding of numbers is promoted.
The following arithmetic skills are learned with the stacking digits
- Figures and arithmetic
- Space and form
- Measure
- Getting to know the numbers 1 – 10 in the correct numeric representation
- Learn the notation by following the stack numbers
- Recognize the number and its value, the higher the stack number, the greater the value
- Compare the stack numbers – towers without counting
- Self-control “Help me to do it myself,” says Maria Montessori
